Rescue Me

We are working, this time, with Foreclosed Upon Pets, Inc. to find homes for Rocky and Bobby. Rocky, pictured left, is a golden Shepherd mix.  He is about six years old and a little shy at first.  However, it only takes a few minutes for him to warm up to you, and then he is a devoted, affectionate friend.

Bobby, pictured below, is an absolute sweetheart.  A nine-year-old shitzu mix, when he was brought to FUPI, he had to have 17 teeth pulled because of massive infection.  He is recovered from that now and likes nothing more than to just sit in your lap.  He's undemanding, calm, trusting, and would be a wonderful companion in a quiet home.

Talulah is pooped! She wrestled ALL DAY with Ballard and has found herself a quiet spot for a nap. And oh yeah, she snores.

Courtship

Our Rosebud (Basset Hound) here definitely has a "type." She goes for tall, dark, and Husky, if you know what I mean. When she first met Wyatt here, he was being his typical aloof self, playing a bit hard to get. Rosebud started flirting with him by swinging her butt into his legs.

Wyatt eventually started to notice her (it's hard to ignore a Basset Hound's butt swinging around trying to trip you).

Progress! Rosebud has successfully lured Wyatt into playing with her! But can she convince him to love her? The courtship continues....

David vs. Goliath, or really, Max vs. Nani.

Max's mom, Audrey, works at Doggie Oasis. And she will do anything to wear Max out before they get home. Max refuses to tire, however, and even here at the end of the day he takes on tug-o-war with Nani. And Nani was definitely more tired by the end of it than he was! Jobe joins in the fun with Fiona, who indulges them in a game of double tug-o-war.
