Week 8 Woofball results!

Well! The Atlanta Falcons certainly made MNF's game exciting, didn't they? They looked great for most of the first half, but four minutes to halftime, Drew Brees did what he does best: He engineered a pass-heavy drive of 80 yards in just six plays.  The Saints carried the momentum into the second half, and while the Falcons did get close once or twice, the Saints never let up, and they're now 7-0 for the year.

This week's drawing winner was Moose!

He will receive a $10 gift certificate for any Doggie Oasis Service.  Which may be used for the treadmill, because his mom wants him to lose weight!

Week 8's Woofball winner was Romeo! Doesn't he look so handsome in his Quarter Bark jersey?  He will take a football with him when he goes home tomorrow.

Week 9's MNF is another close matchup, the Pittsburg Steelers at Denver Broncos.  The spread is only three points with the Steelers as the favorite.  This is a great chance to win $25 by donating and picking the underdog!

As for our rescue groups, we're on round two of donation weeks.  Our rescue this week is Second Chance Rescue:

Second Chance Rescue is 501(C)3 Non-Profit organization dedicated to saving and rehoming the homeless animals of Las Vegas. Our mission is to improve the lives of homeless, abandoned, neglected, and abused animals through rescue, rehabilitations and re-homing efforts. We endeavor to remove them from harms way by pulling them from kill shelters and taking them in through owner surrenders, then providing for their immediate medical needs, evaluating their behavioral and social needs and finding suitable placements for them so they may live out the remainder of their lives happy, healthy, and well loved. We seek to show all these animals the love and respect they deserve that comes through humane care, heartfelt compassion, and the touch of human kindness.
