Woofball Week 12 Results

Last night's MNF game was watched by more people than the Superbowl.  Were you one of them?

The line was -2 for the Saints, but they blew that out of the water.  Their stellar offense made the Pats mighty defense look like high schoolers.  Drew Brees threw for five touchdowns, each one to a different receiver.  Tom Brady looked like he was reliving the 2008 Superbowl.  And the Saints covered and then some.  Now if only they had gotten the over, a certain blogger's husband (ahem, hi honey!) wouldn't have come home in a terrible mood. :)

The drawing winner for this week is Bowzer!  He will receive a $10.00 gift certificate for any Doggie Oasis service for picking the Saints to win.  And really, did anyone think they wouldn't?

Monday's Woofball winner was Watson!

He will receive a football when he goes home!

Congratulations you two. :)

This week's MNF game is the Baltimore Ravens at the Green Bay Packers.  The Packers are 3 point favorites, which make it about even for the game.

Our rescue group this week is Las Vegas Hot-Diggity Dachshund Club and Rescue :

Saving the World One Wiener At a Time

For those of you who don’t know, we are a Non-Profit 501(c)3, Charitable Organization.  We are both a club and a rescue.  We provide support to our members and offer great social opportunities with our beloved dachshunds. As a Club we have Play Days and other monthly events.  We also host a few large events a year such as our Annual Hallo-Wiener Club Picnic!  More details about these large events are found under the “Major Events” tab. We also host fundraisers for other local non-profit rescues such as our Santa Paws collection drive in December.
As a Rescue we strive to help the unwanted and unfortunate dachshunds out there. We understand and know that we can not save them all but we can help the ones that we can, “Saving the world one Wiener at a time.”  We work from the love in our hearts for the breed and are always in need of foster homes and volunteers.

Good luck everyone!
